Newcomers’ Information

Welcome!
We invite you to become part of the Tri-Valley Presbyterian Church family.

If you are attending our worship service for the first time, our Newcomers’ Team will greet you at the entrance of the sanctuary. They will provide guidance for worship, assist with visitor introductions if needed, and help you complete a registration form.

After attending our worship services or gatherings, if you decide to become a registered member of Tri-Valley Presbyterian Church, please follow the steps below.

1. Registration

If you would like to join as a member, please complete a registration form and submit it to the Newcomers’ Team. Upon registration, you will also be introduced to our small group ministry called Cell Groups.

2. Newcomers’ Class

All new members are invited to attend the Newcomers’ Class, which is held quarterly over four weeks. In this class, you will learn about the God we believe in, the vision of Tri-Valley Presbyterian Church, and how to live out your faith. After completing the class, you will be welcomed as a full member with the right to participate in church decision-making.

3. Cell Groups

Our small groups, called Cell Groups, provide a space to share life together, encourage one another, and build each other up in Christ.

4. Baptism

Baptism is a sacrament in which you publicly confess Jesus Christ as Lord before God and the church family, becoming both a child of God and a member of the church. If you are beginning your faith journey or have not yet been baptized, you may receive guidance on preparing for baptism. Please speak with the Newcomers’ Team or your Cell Group leader for more information.
